The South African Shark Cage Diving industry has, collectively put serious measures in place to ensure the safety of all shark cage diving enthusiasts. The shark cage diving operators have to be licensed, have their boats check regularly and use galvanised steel cages of a certain thickness to guarantee the safety and security of every shark cage diver entering the water on their watch.
